TMC Transportation is proudly an employee-owned company based out of Des Moines, Iowa. They are the trucking industry’s premier flatbed carrier, with the nation’s largest flatbed fleet. Through our partnership, DriveCo Class A CDL graduates have the opportunity to drive for TMC after completing their training in addition to benefits like tuition reimbursement and sponsored training.
TMC Driver Pay
TMC offers drivers the chance to choose between two different payment options. They offer a traditional mileage pay system and a Performance-Based Percentage Pay Program. TMC pays drivers in the performance-based program a percentage for each load they haul, similar to being an owner-operator, but without having to worry about covering the truck costs on your own.
Home Time
TMC drivers typically travel within a 1,200 radius of their home, which allows drivers to be able to spend more time at home and with their families. Home time on weekends averages between 48-52 hours before heading back out. However, drivers for TMC are guaranteed to be home on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. They also try their best to get drivers home for other important events like birthdays and anniversaries.
TMC Benefits

Driver Equipment
TMC Transportation has some of the most well-known trucks on the road. They are instantly recognizable with their black and chrome color palette. Peterbilt trucks are used for all TMC trucks, and the company fully loads them for the comfort of their drivers. Some of the common truck features include leather seats, premium sound system, Trimble Communication System, flat-screen TVs, and more. TMC also pays for their drivers to get their trucks washed every week to keep the trucks looking good while on the road.
